A solid Spruce top with a Natural finish gets you a richness of tone and harmonic complexity, a bright sound, great projection and excellent note definition. Whether you're fingerpicking gently or playing rasgueado, the solid Spruce top will ensure your tone remains resonant and consistent. To complement the solid Spruce top you get a solid Mahogany back and sides that work with the Spruce to enhance sustain and add warmth. An armrest on the upper bout gives you a comfortable platform to pick from, ensuring you can keep playing through the longest performances. Slim 'C' Shape

The Merida Extrema GACE1 features a Mahogany neck construction, shaped to a slim 'C' profile, hefty enough to give you a good grasp on chords but slim enough to suit players with smaller hands. The man-made Ebony fretboard wood is environmentally friendly whilst retaining all the positive tonal qualities of traditional Ebony, feeling smooth underhand and allowing legato to flow freely and slides to move effortlessly. 20 frets give you plenty of space to experiment, with the single cutaway giving fantastic upper fret access.
