We produce around 50 videos per day across our website, app and social media channels, and this role is pivotal in ensuring these videos reach their audience.

With formats ranging from breaking news footage, to video podcasts, to X, our portfolio is wide-ranging in both themes and audiences, making for an exciting and diverse approach.

Leveraging extensive experience in optimising YouTube channels and other video distribution platforms, you will be crucial in planning and implementing optimal distribution strategies.
Your tasks

Research and explore diverse distribution platforms to identify emerging opportunities
Tailor a video distribution strategy to align with the brand's portfolio and objectives
Evaluate video concepts and recommend suitable channels for content distribution
Collaborate with producers to customize content for specific channel requirements
Devise promotional tactics to boost the visibility and reach of video products
Strategize and execute a comprehensive YouTube content strategy to drive viewership
Ensure consistency in messaging and brand identity across all content through cross-functional collaboration
Implement thumbnail design strategies to improve click-through rates and video visibility
Foster audience interaction and community growth
Manage and enforce channel policies and guidelines
Cultivate partnerships with external video platform partners to expand reach
Stay updated on industry trends, utilize analytics tools, and conduct keyword research to optimize content for engagement and discoverability
Your profile

Experience in optimising content for YouTube
Experience in optimising podcasts across a host of platforms
Passion and enthusiasm for the news industry
A track record of using data to inform decision-making
Familiarity with video editing tools and techniques.
Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
Passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging platforms.
Ability to analyse competitor channels and market trends.
